some one please help solving this!!

Post by nicksaya » Tue Feb 14, 2006 2:53 am

I am still having that problem with Live 5 where i can't speed up the tempo of an arrangement on the fly without things going out of sync. i have to wait a while for the wave forms to be drawn then i can bump the tempo up and it is all cool.. very frustrating. because when i am running backing tracks live with a band sometimes i want to bump things up a bit on the fly. this also happend running live 4.
no body at ableton has been able to help me

Is it possible for you to try this with the problematic Live Set on an external FW drive?

My roommate recorded a bunch of stuff on my internal drive and I noticed that she did some things that required the waveforms to be redrawn. I always use an external drive and I don't have this happen to me.

Daft question mate but are you sure that everything is warped & markered correctly? Cause I can bump the speed of either arrangement or session view no probs....what size of tracks, how many channels are you running simulatenously?
