I have to do some clarification in this to protect Brian and his very good site!Peterdelve wrote:I do Like Juno have have spent quite a bit with them. However recently I have started to move toward MP3's partly because of Ableton and partly because of the issues with vinyl (and the time to record vinyl to MP3).
I have used www.Traxsource.com and found it is simply excellent for House/Us House. It very cheap easy to use and If you buy a complete EP (which costs from $3.75-$7/8 for 320kbps) you usually get the CD label graphic and CD insert, this saves a bit of time if you backup your MP3's to Audio CD's.
They have quite a few promos appearing only a day or two after the promo vinyl is available. Most importantly of all, where ever possible Traxsource usesd the digitial master from the record labels to crerate the MP3 file.
They also have some great mixes (through cyberjams radio) that can be streamed through www.traxsource.com.
1. some promos are available way BEFORE the vinyl release and a lot of stuff are EXCLUSIVE to Traxsource, in the way that no other digital shop has it and the tracks are not on vinyl.
2. the digital master or a CD thereof is ALWAYS used, it never resources to the vinyl copy if that is what you intended.
No offence to you, instead i would like to thank you for calling up Traxsource as a reference.
