They have quite a few promos appearing only a day or two after the promo vinyl is available. Most importantly of all, where ever possible Traxsource usesd the digitial master from the record labels to crerate the MP3 file.

They also have some great mixes (through cyberjams radio) that can be streamed through www.traxsource.com.

I have to do some clarification in this to protect Brian and his very good site!

1. some promos are available way BEFORE the vinyl release and a lot of stuff are EXCLUSIVE to Traxsource, in the way that no other digital shop has it and the tracks are not on vinyl.

2. the digital master or a CD thereof is ALWAYS used, it never resources to the vinyl copy if that is what you intended.

JDP, No offence taken.

I love Traxsource.com and spent a fair few britsh pounds since I found it, just didn't want to big it up too much and hijack the thread (as it was originally a Juno digital downoad annoucement).

Yes Traxsource do have plenty of exclusives and some promos are available ages (many months in some case!) before the vinyl promo is ever released (if at all). That in its self is a huge avantage for us DJ's.

I didn't know that absolutley everything was ripped from digital thats very reasurring to know (everything I have purchased sounds absolutely perfect, crystal clear

)

JDP, if you are associated to Traxsource (or know the guys) then please pass on my thanks to all involved and keep up the good work.

I'm off over there now to pick up some more upfront US house MP3's !!!!!

Yes....it's till happening.......though at the moment there's a hell of a lot of music to upload and not enough time to do it in.

I can now tell you that JunoDigital shall be launching shortly (hopefully Feruary)......I will report back when I have more info.

i would have thought that 320CBR mp3 was the same as a wav file.
(once converted to wav of course)

when you buy from beatport and specify 'send me the CD' is the CD a home made blank CD with a beatport label? or is it from the record label label itself.
ie is there any aesthetic appeal to the CD from Beatport?

Ladies and gentlemen Juno Digital has now launched!!!

You’ll notice the site doesn’t look any different however when browsing for artists/genre’s etc you’ll now see 3 tabs, one for CD, Vinyl and a new one for DIGITAL. What this means is that the download as been fully intergrated into the buying experience and as such you should be able to buy cd/vinyl and downloads with the cd/vinyl appearing in the post as per usually and the download being active and ready to download straight away…I understand Juno are the first to do this!
