solo mode for operator and simpler

Post by EricP » Fri Feb 10, 2006 4:18 pm

by solo, I mean not the mono (1 voice) currently implemented, but something similar to the casio CZ101 solo mode (and many other synth).

when you press 2 notes, only the last pressed is heard. When you release it, the sound reverts to the other one still pressed.

this allows "trills" and nice effects with the arp (with gate length smaller than 50%, you get some nice swing)

By the way, does anyone know what the "R" button function does ? It appeared in L5 for both operator and simpler. I would assume that it toggles retrigger in mono mode, but I couldn't really find what effect it actually has. That's one un-documented function ...

set the number of voices to 1 and then hit the glide button for operator. does that not do what you're talking about?
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
