Opening projects says it was created on a different version?

I have Ableton 5.0.3. running on an iMac G5.

I just created a few projects, but when I go to open them via my "Finder" on the Mac, it says:

"An error occurreed while reading "filename.aif.asd." Apparently, the document was created by a more recent, and incompatible, version of Live than this."

But I created it on the SAME computer, with the SAME Ableton.

Is this just an error when opening them from the Mac Finder?

Anyone else had this problem?

yeah i had the same problem. i even went and changed the default application (by doing Apple-I on the file) and it still didn't work.

but for some reason after migrating all my stuff to a new harddrive, everything is fine.

so, sorry i don't have a real solution, but just letting you know that you're not the only one experiencing this problem.

this thread should really be in the Bugs and Problems forum, though.
