UC-33 won't work on my Acer Notebook, dammit!

Hi there!
I'm having a serious problem:
I just bought me an Acer Aspire 5672 Notebook and it works fine. But I can't get my UC-33 to work with anything. When I connect it to a USB-Port it gets recognized and installed. It shows up in my System, but not in Ableton or another program! I tried the newest drivers, but no change. I also tried a Behringer BCR-2000, which could only be found by Ableton after installing the drivers of their website.
I'm supposed to celebrate my birthday tomorrow with some banging electro, but how can I if it won't work? I also have the problem with my MS-20 USB-Controller (KORG Legacy Collection), but if I disconnect it I additionally get a bluescreen and a reboot for free. This is totally wasted! Help!

i had your same problem when i bought my uc33. it powered up ok but live didn't "see" it unfortunately i cant give you a fix because I ended up formatting my HD and re-installing windows. Maybe a bit extreme but I'd ran out of ideas. It works fine now.

Do you also have a Acer Notebook? Which one is it?

mines not an acer. its a packardhell.
