selecting multiple clips (and multiple midi notes)

Post by treaclle » Thu Feb 23, 2006 8:25 pm

clicking on a clip selects it. nice.

shift clicking on a clip selects it and all the other clips that lie between that clip and the previous selected clip. sweet.

but how do i select multiple non-consecutive clips? and is this a feature request or a bug?! i reckon it's pretty essential really, and seems a bit of a strange omission.

can we have the ability to select multiple clips individually by control clicking?

unfortunately this would create inconsistencies with the way notes are selected in midi clips. currently shift clicking allows you to select individual notes. but as far as i know, ctrl-clicking is the generally accepted way of doing this across pretty much every other program i've ever used. maybe this will become possible when we have user-definable shortcuts? (any news on that any one?)

thank you for your ears and your time :)
