creating a "song"

Post by vedhead » Sun Feb 26, 2006 3:29 am

maybe this is a better way to ask...

can I take a session (the Master 1 line which in my case has 1 midi 2 audio clips) and when I plress play on Master 1, record what plays onto another track? Hence, combining clips to form a song section? I see a consolidate option, but its always greyed out and I dont know what I need to select in order to use it...

thanks!

you're working in session view.
along the top of the screen, in the middle,
are the controls for play, stop, and record.
hit record (the circle)
and then start playing your loops.
when you're done, hit stop,
and then click over to the arrange
page. you'll see all the clips you
played, arranged how you played them.
drag the ends of the looper bar
to the beginning and end of what
you wish to render.
file->render to disk.
