It is essential to set the output of the limiter below 0 dB, as I said to something like -0,2 or -0,3 dB and not to auto wich probably is 0 dB.
These 0 dB can cause some cd players to clip.
How is it with resampling, does that work?

Resampling did not work.

I set the limiter at no more than -0.2dB and that did not work either.

However, I did discover that it is the rendering of the MIDI clips which is causing this to occur. When I use Live 5.0.3 and Live 5.2b loaded only with audio clips and render to .wav I do not have this volume-clicking issue with CD players. And the audio clips are not even loaded in to RAM.

Hmmm....

Finally I was able to get the file to render OK in Live 5.2b5.

All systems go!
