Midi clips not remotly recording

Has anyone ever experienced a problem recording midi clips with a remote keyboard? I have a OZONIC keyboard that can't seem to correctly input midi data into LIVE. The computer keyboard function works fine and properly records into a midi clip. But whenever the Remote OZONIC keyboard is used, notes are drawn out long and then not shown when the performance is finished. If any notes are shown, they appear at the left most region of the sequence ( at -3966 or so) vertically aligned and definately not where I recorded them. I get SOUND, but not a performance. WHAT GIVES?

I just encountered the exact same problem! I can hear the synth/sampler in realtime, but when I play back the clip, all the notes play just once, at the very beginning of the clip. I had just gotten finished editing some presets with the Enigma editor, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. But yeah, I'm using an Ozonic too. If you or anyone else ever came up with a fix, I'd appreciate some insights.

Hello Joshu_Dog & chumpchange,

your problem sounds like a known issue that happens with the 1.6 Ozonic driver on OS X 10.4.x. This driver creates invalid timestamps which result in this strange behavior.

There are two workarounds until this issue is fixed with a new driver from m-audio:

Live 5.2 (and so the current beta) will ignore these invalid timestamps so you shoul db able to record MIDI "normally" but because of the invalid timestamps the recorded MIDI data could not be tight enough.

Or you use the previous driver, which is version 1.5 I think.
