KTDrum trigger invisible in Midi input

Weird , when I put a KTDrum trigger in an audio track, it's not appearing in the drop down list of available inputs in a midi channel, isn't that how it should work ?

in KVDrum trigger Midi notes keep on coming back to their default numbers , have you noticed that ?

trying to use KTdrum with Impulse. followed instructions, but the midi channel does seem to be getting any input. suggestions.

Is this plug only meant to work with other VSTi?

I am very new to plug-ins and Live, so 101 feedback would be much appreciated. How do i assign the midi notes?
