I have a track pretty much finished in the arrangement. My first time arranging a track in Ableton. There are variations of loops/clips in each track (Obviously). Each clip has it's own clip volume.
--- I guess the question is ........What is the best way to change all the volumes in the arrangement view so I can mix down in track volumes?
Consolidating clips should help right?.
If you have any ableton mix-down tips I would greatly appreciate it!!!.....
Thank You
MIX-DOWN HELP!!!
Well i do it two different ways. One way is to automate in arrangement View by hitting record I like to use external faders and massage the volume as it records back over the mix but remember if your in the arrangement view make sure the red overdub button is not red. I'll also use the mouse and automate the clip envolpes with breakpoints inside the arrangement view. What really helps is to remember while in session view make sure your overdub button is red that way the session view is what your tweaking and when your in Arrang View make sure the button is not rED. I hope that helps.
