exactly what Apple themselves charge for max RAM? Now if you buy RAM somewhere else, you can probably get it cheaper, that's the main reason I don't understand your problem with this?
Other World Computing has it for 114.99, $70 cheaper.

That depends on what Intel charges for those CPU's.
It'll most likely replace the current top of the line...
