OK OK, I think we can reel off enough names to say who is an influencial artist in electronic music, but is this answering the question - 'who is the God of electronic music?'.
So I propose this before answering the question:
WHAT IS GOD?
Basically then we know what the word means and then can find who fits this label the best and no more arguments.

Gods are something people make up because they are afraid to die, and a good tool to use for control of people, make a book with rules that are purposely vague enough to be interpreted in any way that fits the agenda of the leaders = win.

The first person who really made me sit up and listen to music created electronically was Tomita.

I've always thought of Keith Emerson as a bit of a pioneer in the use of electronics (synths) in music as well. Plus, he can actually play!

What about some of these constituents of God?
1. monotheistic - only one God
2. omniscient - knowing everything
3. omnipotent - power to create everything
4. perfectly benevolent - only good
5. omnipresent - everywhere
are there more parts to this definition?

Some (although not me) might want to add:
6. imaginary - exists only in your mind

Novus Opiate Seclorum
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

For the record you shouldn't capatalize the word god unless you are specifically refering to the god of the Jews or the Christians. Or if the word god comes at the begining of the sentance.
