quick question: how do i move the mixer in the session view in smaller increments instead of just random numbers? in reason, hitting the control key and then moving the fader up or down does the trick but in live, sayif i want exactly 5 decibels, i am unable to do so! appreciated!

double click the dB value at the bottom of the fader, now you can numerically enter the dB value. I too would like for Live to allow you to hit the shift key and be able to fine tune faders with the mouse, of to hold control and mouse click the fader and have it jump to 0.0 dB.

i don't think you can do that in the session view. what you're talking about referes to the clip view, since there is nothing at the bottom of the session view mixer.
take care!

you can enter a value into the arranger view master channel, and it's just a quick TAB away.
if you are just using one set of audio outs, you could also enter volume dB directly in the Bus view.
