"Where the full version of Ableton Live gives you all of these capabilities across an unlimited number of audio and MIDI tracks, Ableton Live Lite 5 gives you four audio tracks and four MIDI tracks. Live Lite 5 will not include compressed audio support and records in 16 bit quality." - M-audio site says.
Does it mean that I won't be able to render files in 24 bits and use mp3 file in my sets?
Thanx!

Since no one here seems to know the answer, maybe you should drop Ableton a line? They're usually pretty quick to reply.

Hi there,
Live Lite 5 M-Audio Enhanced edition
-- does not have MP3 (or any compressed audio) support
-- DOES have hi def. recording rendering (M-Audio site is a misprint.)
Best,
Jesse
