Help, help, help!!!

Post by Smashed Hat » Fri Mar 10, 2006 5:30 pm

Last night my laptop ran out of battery power when I left it unattended.

Live version 4.1.2 was running and the set that I was working on was saved.

Now when I try to open the set I get a message telling me
Syntax error. Expected a class id, found "UserFloatModulationTargw" instaed
And then it opens an empty liveset.

So far I've tried re-installing live and that hasn't worked.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

The previous versions of this liveset are radically different and it'll take me ages to fix it and it still won't be "right".

I've just located a similar thread & it looks like this is one for the ableton boys.
Cheers anyway tho.

Bugger, I was kind of hopeful after reading the other thread.

It turns out that my .als file is just too corrupt to salvage. :x

Thanks to Adam@ableton for trying to repair the file though. :D :D
