Ozonic creating audio distortion, why?

Post by PanJan77 » Sat Mar 11, 2006 12:05 pm

Hi!
I'm running Live5 with iBookG4 and using Ozonic as a soundcard, everything works well. BUT when I'm running a vocal from a mic thru the Ozonic to Live and than to the mixer, Ozonic makes strange high distortions (sounds like digital distortions, NOT a hardware thing) from time to time (and not regullary). I've changed the buffer size but it doesn't help much. What could it be? Is it a matter of some kind of set-up or is just that my iBook is to slow? What can I try more? Can you help please?

thanx

I've been getting the same thing with my Ozone, Ozonic's predecessor. The only thing I found to stop it was to reselect the audio interface in Abelton's settings. THat seemed ot get rid of it for seome reason. No idea why though!
