Live 5.0.3
New User
I am going to be using Ableton as a DJ tool but have encountered the following problem.
Each track launched is using about 17% CPU load however when launching two or more tracks I an getting crackling and popping noises, even after altering track volumes and eq's to ensure the master volume is not in the red I still get the crackles.
Just as I am writeing this i have one track launched and am still occasionally getting the crackles and pops

I have got a little closer in discovering why this is occuring, If i disable warp on each track I can launch 6 or 7 audio clips simultaniously whithout the crackling and poping.
Is this down to my system not being good enough for Live?
I use: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.4GHz 1.8GHz, 512Mb of RAM

Try adjusting the buffer size of the soundcard and the plugin buffer size (preferences) it helps a lot. I have a laptop less powerful than yours and I don't have any problem of glitches, pops, etc, etc, and I use up to 8 tracks, plugins, effects,Reason rewired.
