looking for a really long delay plugin

Post by circle puller » Tue Oct 07, 2003 7:56 pm

Anbody know where I can find a really long delay plugin with like 10-20sec of delay? I really like the filter delay plugin I just can't seem to figure out how to get a really long delay time.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

If you are on PC get Elottronix XL with up to 80 seconds of synced delay at http://www.elogoxa.net/.

Some other really nice goodies there and free!

Have you tried chaining several of Live's built in "simple delays" on one of your send channels? Do that and toggle the "16" boxes for the L and R channels and set the mix to 100% for each (so it's pure delay effect passing thru). Also I don't know how important the tempo is to you, but if you are working at 120bpm then perhaps you could cut the tempo in half in order to essentially double the delay's time? Anyway I had a nice 8 second delay going the other day... maybe tonight I'll take a crack at bigger times.

No I haven't. I'll try playing around with Lives other delay. The PSP plugs look awesome, but a little more than i can afford right now. Being broke sucks. On the bright side it makes you learn how to do more with what you got.

wow, missed that
that's a shame - still, quite good value though for a *lot* of plugins.

Yeah defiantely, a great deal. I'm just so broke. Anyway the delays that come with Live aren't bad at all. In fact I'm starting to like them more and more, when I think how much I can eat for $199.00
