Remember When Videos Used To Be This Good?

http://www.sigur-ros.is/sirkus.html

Watch this video and tell me if you see any hos, bling bling, cars, drivebys, gangstas, pools, mansions, money, or giggling butts.

I could also have titled this thread as "Why MTV (in the US) Sucks"...

What was the name of the Sigor Ros track that had the video with the down syndrome kids and adults with the fairy/angels wings in the field ?
It must be among one of my all time favourite video clips.
Really is a truly beautiful thing too watch , it always manages to move me emotionally.
Beautiful track and the video is just sublime.
It really captures a beauty too the human spirit you rarely see in alot of music video production.
I also love Bjork's "All is full of Love" video ...simply amazing.
My aren't the wings of butterflies beautiful and do they not make wonderful perturbations.....

I like Pulp's video for Common People.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

I loved the climax...I didn't know what was gonna happen...it was so tense and so beautiful.

I even felt bad for the little kid at the end, the disbeliever, who fell...

Lovely stuff...

They showed another sigur ros video in a museum here in Barcelona. The exposition was about all aspects violence.

It was with kids with gas masks playing in a schoolyard and destroying a car.

I liked it a lot. It's very very hmmm ...sad

I just saw Sigur Ros live here in Cleveland, Ohio USA about three qweeks back and it was amazing! Truly a great live band. I was fortunate enough to see Mogwai a week and a half ago as well... another of my favorite live bands. Saw a local band Six parts Seven last weekend who are probably my favorite band altogether. It's been an amazing month for live music here nontheless.
