MBOX2 & Live 5' cue via Powerbook internal soundoutput

Post by keysonstage » Mon Mar 20, 2006 10:07 am

I run ALive 5 on Powerbook with MBOX2, how to use (assign?) CUE via native sound output? Is ALIVE 5 able to use 2 soundcards same time?
may be it's possible to use MBOX2 monitor capabilities, like Pro Tools (separate headphone output & master output or so?)

I use pre Tiger OSX 10.3.9
is it not enough to use both soundoutputs in ALive 5?

Hi, you have to use Tiger with "aggregate devices" in the "audio/midi" - panel. I use this with Live 5 and a V-synth XT. I route the master out to the XT and cue to the internal output on my PowerBook (headphones). It works great. :D
