Welcome to the boards
try this
go to the SEARCH tab at the top of the screen
in the key word part type in
NOVATION + SL + 25
PROJECT + MIX + M-AUDIO (M-Audio...this may not be necessary but I could see Project and Mix coming up with all kinds of results but it would help)
not trying to diss or make you feel unwelcome but in the last few months since the release of these products there have been multiple threads just like this one - you may get the answers you seek
enjoy the ride

Personally I think the project mix would be unnecessary if you have the sl. I would spend money on something like a triggerpad or any device that would be dedicated to trigger samples. The Sl has the ability to control your mix as well as using the transport controls. But if you gotta have motorized faders then have at it.
3ghz Pentium 4 (Prescott), XP Sp2, 1gig Ram, Dual Monitor with Matrox Millenium, MOTU Traveler, Event EZ8 Adat card. Also IBM THinkpad t40 1.6 1 gig ram
I agree with kennerb.
I have a project mix... but I use it with Pro-Tools as well as Live. From what I've read the SL can do a lot of what the Project Mix I/O can do... plus you get the keys. And you save a chunk of cash. If you are only going to work with Live my opinion is go with the SL.
However, if you are using another DAW (like Pro-Tools, Logic, Cubase, Digital Performer, etc) the Project Mix can be a great tool.

right now im using a bcf2000, an ozone(not the interface, just the keyboard, knobs andother midi assignable stuff), with a rented 410 (which incidentally has not caused me any trouble lol(re. forum chat on this puppy)) for my interface. i wanna step it up a notch or 5
