Weill thats nice to know there are some around here in their thirties so lets just say im somewhere in that ballpark. Im probably underestimating the age group in this forum though.

Your music would have excited me a few years ago. I know for a fact I would have been well in to it (lLARGE.)
I come from the Chemical generation although in my case it was without the chemicals but I loved all forms of dance music and in particular Techno. I was totally in love with R+S-UR-Red Planet , but when Jeff Mills arrived I truly felt that minimilast (it was in those days) obnoxiously funky techno had arrived (LARGE). I loved all the oher stuff as well, but Mills just had that extra something for the Techno dancefloor that those weekend warriors with no real in interest in dancemusic couldnt help but to boogey on down just that little bit more than usual. For two years I was giddy on mills Purpose Maker stuff

This brings me what I think of your music. Its alive, its infected with a funky Ass pounding groove,layerd with a series of in yer face brain tormenting synth phrases and stabs, culminating in one LARGE ass shaking peak time techno jig.

But for me it reminds me of mills stuff which is a great compliment, but its only that Ive moved on a little, not just mills, but dance music in general. I still love it of course, and to add to the compliments of your music, while it reminds me of Mills you have updated certain elements which give it a fresh approach, one of them being the percusiion section.

Im way to get me Glow Stick and bop to your rock (minus the chemicals)

i was teasing you about the age thing, but i do appreciate the review.

i definitely love all kinds of stuff, and have mostly been listening to M.I.A., imogen heap (and her old band frou frou), and the postal service when i am not makin' tunes.

i love making all kinds of stuff (especially hip hop beats), but i spin techno, so that's my main thang...i just make tunes so i can play them on large soundsystems really!

i have only been producing for about 2 years now, so i am always glad when i hit the right note with my production. one of the things i am still working on is finding my own sound and pushing myself to come up with new ideas that are still playable (for me as a dj), but that push my own boundaries. we are works in progress, in that respect, so i always want to hear if i am making stagnant sounds, or at least hitting on the right level. mostly, i wanna make driving techno that still has funk, but i also want new sounds and progressions in composition. so much loopy techno is on my last nerve recently, so i am always looking to knock myself out of the formulaic mindset and find new territories. that said, i am still learning, so all the critiques and comments are really valuable.

Spot on dj shiva, the very fact you are self aware of your strengths and weaknesses will keep you in good stead and could lead to your realisation of selfness, which ultimately is what every artist should strive to achieve and I feel you can do this.

A particular strength you have is the awareness to make music that will fit in with your Dj sets, this alone PROVES your music is right up there with the best of them. Like any other dj you will be playing the best you can find.

This is no easy task actually and is basically what dance careers are made on, but the fact that you have chosen to make similiar music to one of the masters of his genre (a very difficult sound to achieve in every apsect) means you truly have talent, but the secret to standing out is plagurism from many sources, THAT is what makes a unique artist.

DO NOT think what I am saying to you is an insult in any way. Im saying this to you because I believe you are inteligent enough to understand what Im saying. Your not the type to run off and cry wolf. (I researched)

Of all the stuff I have listened to on this forum yours is by easily the best, and accurate to what is easily release-able. In fact im amazed you havent released more stuff.

Your very good but now the trick is for you to add some other influences and make it your own. ( no easy task of course) and im not saying you have to be 100% original which couldnt ever happen after 1967

its cool to be influenced. thats a key factor of what actually is the make up of an artist.

Btw, when i say many sources the scenario would be something like your sitting in your studio probably struggling (as we all do) to add some new element and then you think what would so and so add here. The more virtual producers you have in your head the better. You get the idea? This is not stealing, this is being talented.

This stuff im telling you is good shit btw, so read between the lines as well

dont worry im not out to stalk you yet, ill wait until your famous for that

Your music is really good. I listen make CHICAGO HOUSE in VIETNAM but my friends come from America say Midwest is best for techno music not Arizona like my old girlfriend said. I would like to extend the Olive Branch and say I like your tracks in VIETNAM
