Just got a G5, need some essential plug in advice

Post by paolo topaz » Tue Mar 28, 2006 3:42 am

Hi guys,

I'm quite new to production but I have been learning alot on this site and making some nice tunes on my G4 powerbook but since I got reason 3 it just can't cope

So I got a nice G5 dual 2.3ghz, 4GB Ram, 500 Gb hd

I have M-Audio Studiophile Bx8as with M-Audio Audiophile sound card

Live 5.0.3 with Reason 3 and korg Ms-20

I find myself using the Ms-20 alot cos I loves phat sound but I need plug ins for pads, guitars, fills and more sub bass

For drums too.

Could anyone recommend a plug in for each of these sounds to help me complete a tune and have that full sound?

many thanks in advance

you cann check out my mix Synth City from Pacha la Pineda last November at www.paolotopaz.com

cheers

G-Media MiniMonsta is one of the best soft synths out there for my money. It's very versatile and fun to use, and sounds great too

Synth plugins I use only the audiorealism stuff .. I fulfill the rest of my synth duties in hardware :)
