real merge function between two sets

I use to work with the arrangment view, in a more classical timeline approach for an off line kind of editing. Is there a way to merge two different projects? I just upgraded to live 5 because I thought this version would have supported this feature, but I discovered it's only partial. This merge thing regards only the session view.

When I mean MERGE two sets, I mean linking an arrangment one after another, with the possibility to choose just the clips material, blending in the same tracks of the first project; or adding the new set on a completely new group of tracks, starting from anywhere in the song.

Am I just missing something? Is it already possible?
