What Operating System???

I'm using LIVE 2 on an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ 1.8ghz 512ram

What operating system would be best to use on this machine to work best with LIVE... I've been using XP, but about an hour into my sets, it starts stuttering, skipping sound????

stick with xp it's a safe bet now.your sound problem comes from a setting,driver or overheat.check your settings,try to upgrade your drivers.
AMD heats up prety fast so try to install some kind of cooling device.
i had the same problem with the same piece of equipment and sorted it out doing that.
