Episode 4:
Adam and Adonis go to Guitar Center. They find a multi-output headphone amp, but don't have enough money to pay for it. They begin to haggle with Guitar Center dude. There is drama.
Episode 5:
Having successfully negotiated the price of the headphone amp, Adam and Adonis begin to work on a project together, both hunched over one single computer. Shortly after midnight, after several hot pockets consumed, in an inadvertant moment of warping genius, their hands touch. There is an awkward pause.
Episode 6:
Adonis wakes up the next morning and immediately does 9 pushups. Adam knocks on the door. Adonis is panting from his pushups. Adam walks into the room. The door closes. The dog is kept out, and has confused look as we fade to commercial. Brokeback Mountain DVD commercial airs.

I really want some feedback about what I should do with it - this is my thread and I'll talk about whatever I want!!!
Sounds cool, a good foundation for whatever you want. Keep it around in your live sets and mix it in at will. About in the middle there's a man's shout, you might be able to get some more oomph out of it. Cool track, your years of DJing really show, very smooth buildup, climax and take down.

Ableton Love v1.0
Shortly thereafter, the series is pulled due to falling ratings that usually occur after the sexual tension has been consumated. Even after repeated attempts to reprise the tension, with multiple love interests (including a variety of animals), the show's audience dissipates as people go back to making music.

Agreed, this is very good. I recognize some Vengeance samples...correct me if I'm mistaken. Love that bassline...sounds like an insect is picking at my eardrum.
I just cleaned out my ears, and turns out, it really was an insect. Nasty. Anyways, back to the mix...love that choppy pad. Got an early 90s feel to it. When the open hat comes in, it's a very nice build...very smooth indeed...well done!

Thanks DKF!
The problem with that reality show you're talking about
the only time I ever meet Adam I was on my way to getting plowed and I was like "You're AdamJay! OMG OMG" he was like yeah and seemed a bit annoyed but he gave me that CD with his hand on it anywayz -
Then the next year I tried to holla but he was busy performing on his laptop
there was a crazy DJ before him - jumping around and doing all kinds of weird shit - it was like on some outdoor patio
So I don't think Adam likes me very much - I haven't changed much I just don't drink as much and I'm a little more reserved in my old age

The sample is from a Halloween record I have - I cut it up and rearranged it so it doesn't make any since if you heard it with that dub delay on top
I love dub - thank you
No loops used - I'm trying to get in that habit - the track we're working on with fellow board member Jacksin is way more in depth and a tad trancey but that shold be done soon - I just got Jacksin's mix last night

adonis, you sound like just the kind of person they are looking for. Have you ever applied to it?
It was in Seattle last year, but is planned for Australia this year.
I applied a couple times but I'm clearly too old. I don't think they chose anyone over 33 or so.
r.
From their site:
The application phase for this year's Academy runs from April 14 – June 3, during which the application form will ready for download on this site. I love Redbull
Why is that Paula Cole song stuck in my head, you know the one that goes
"I don't want to wait, for our lives to be over..."
It's from the Dawson Creek show I heard

I think we need an intervention, Adonis has lost it. Someone take him to the nearest football game, strip club, gun range or monster truck rally NOW, GO GO GO GO !!!!
He's starting to have too many
feelings.
