Exceed Current limitations?_*HELP*

Post by fire228 » Tue Apr 04, 2006 3:39 pm

Ok, here is my problem.

I am using the "Clips" from the Ableton library (Beats/Bass/Pads/etc) and 95% work perfect and let me save them or use them however I want, but when I try to click on some to use a message pops up and says "This feature may exceed current limitations, switching to Demo Mode".

What is this and why does it do that??? Its not letting me use certain ones.

I am running a full version installed right out of the box and i didnt think there should be any limitations.

HELP PLEASE! :?

if it's a clip thar uses the operator synth that would explain it. untill you unlock it (costs extra) any use of operator forces the program into demo mode .

it's definitely operator.

i just learned this... in the preferences you can switch operator from "demo" to "ignore" (or something like that)

then instead of doing the switch-to-demo-mode thing, it probably just wouldn't let you drag those Live clips into your set.

this setting is handy because it will allow you to open sets which contain operator, even though you don't have a license, and save them after deleting the offending operator tracks. otherwise the only way to open such a set is in demo mode, and you can't save anything
