good rhodes plugin?

Anyone know of a good one?I tried Mr Ray,& it sounded good but has some wierd noise shit going on (kinda like a guitar cord left unpluged through a chorus).Ive tried alot of sound fonts but haven't come across a good one yet,i'd prefer a vsti if I can find one worth while.

let's see who gives me shit for saying so, but i think a lot of the rhodes samples on reason's electromechanical sound really great

If you have a Mac & would also like Logic Pro, then it's EVP 88 is also very good. Awfully expensive if all you need is the Rhodes though.

definetely Lounge Lizard by Applied Acoustic Systems

by far the best and most 'original' sounding rhodes plug i know of.
and if you are already at AAS you should check out tassman too.

But compared side by side, playing a REAL RHODES is a religious experience, and I'm neither religious nor a keyboard player, but I've fallen in love quickly with rhodes organs. It's a percussive instrument, very difficult to emulate.

skarbee Rhodes collection is pretty ridiculous, its not a plug but if youve got a soft sampler, Another vote for the Reason jam too, Reason is great bang for the buck..

i agree about the 'real deal' but the lounge lizard is as good as it gets, if there is no real beauty at hand!! and yupp the evp 88, but that's just part of logic and not a standalone plug, even i think the LL is slightly more 'natural' and has that 'character'

superb samples........very very accurate
It's nice and simple

but it's a bug fest...........a regular czacada swarm! They have been promising updates for a long LONG time......but to date, nothing.

as mentioned, you can get logic pro and use the ev88.........pretty darn good for the most part.....but there is the little snag of 1000 USD

I think there are new "real" Rhodes out or coming out.
Picked that up somewhere on an audio site...

I'm getting that "weird noise shit" off of Mr. Ray too. It's a strange endlessly sustained and gradually-getting-louder high Eb. Otherwise, I like the way this Vst sounds. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Wish I had a Rhodes, but I seriously love my Wurly.
