can anyone tell me (from england) wot'd be the best microphone for under 50 quid that'd go with a line6 toneport ux2?
try to get a used shure sm58 or 57, they go new for about 70-100quid, turnkeys sometimes has special offers, but they are versatile workhorses, built like a tank, sounding 'good' (for certain uses they even beat the most expensive mics around) and are standard items for ANY mic collection.
they are really an absolut standard must have and will last forever, even if you treat 'em rough. i prefer the 57 as it is good for vox, too but a little more versatile on instruments then the 58, just my 2pennies.
by all means worth saving the few quid more and spending them on an item which you can still use in 10 or 20 years.
