Live 3 Launch hang-Unexpected quit

Live 3 still hangs on launch freezing my system requiring a hard reboot. Then launches OK after restart. On quiting it says Live has unexpectedly Quit.
The is no method to the Launch hang. Sometimes after working in other sound apps. Sometimes not. It is very frustrating.
Problem system G4 800MHz Dual OS 10.2.8
On my iMac 400 DV OS 10.2.8 I DOES NOT have this problem.
I've thrown out Prefs/ reinstalled Live/Used the larger Japanese version all with same result.

I.ve the same problem, only I can't get live to start agin. same system, but dual 1000. Maybe it's the system

I should add to my previous post that Live 3 only works as a rewire slave in PT6.1, I can't get it to work as rewire master(or standalone) at all. In OS9.2.2 it's fine.
