Does anyone use the program cocktail?

Would this program help run ableton live better in OSX jaguar?

i used it but went back to janitor...cocktail wants a bit to much and the version i tested was not perfect functioning...but this was 6 month ago...maybe it got updated

Looks more like a disk and system utility than anything that would really increase performance.

IMO, unless it can do better than a CLI-based 'nice' call, Cocktail looks like a free, useful system maintenance tool but not much more.
