Boom Monk Ben, Troutfish, Full Phat, D-Form & Rico hook up 6 decks and piss each other off by mixing over the best bits of tunes. It's for charity mind...
The Tenteleni South Africa Project Presents: a night of house, electro and hip-hop, mashed-up by some of glasgow’s best up and coming DJs - on 6 decks, to raise money for the summer ‘06 project - helping to raise HIV & Aids awareness in Africa.
Boom Monk Ben is one of Glasgow's most prominent club scene figures, regularly appearing on the bill of some of the city's biggest club nights. And with Ninja Tune's Solid Steel Radio airing his mix CDs and asking him to host the return of Solid Steel to the Glasgow School Of Art in May, he is definately hot property.
Troutfish has rocked sell out parties in some of Glasgow's most well known nightspots including The Shack, QMU, Bamboo and the Subcity FM Launch Party. Now weekly resident at the GUUs flagship Friday night Back to Basics, Troutfish is one of the most recognisable names on the Glasgow student scene.
One of Glasgow’s finest, Full Phat lives, sleeps and breathes DJing, and can do things with house music you wouldn't think are possible. A technician of the mix both behind the decks and in the studio.
Rab's Boutique residents Rico & D-Form are multi-deck pros, having regularly wowed Mixed Bizness, Subcity listners and Sub Club crowds with their unique blend of anything and everything on four decks. Expect everything from madona to plastikman to the fresh prince with dillinja over it.
