live 3 fx settings not re-loading properly

Sometimes when I open a tune that I have been working on, the fx panel settings don't seem to be coming back properly. It seems to be a graphic thing because soundwise everything is as it should be, it's just that the front panels of ALL the fx in the tune are showing their default settings, with the orange lines around the knobs indicating where the settings SHOULD be. If I close the song and re-open it again everything is back to normal again.
It seems to be an intermittent problem and I've not found a pattern to what's going on yet. It took me a while before I noticed and I wrecked a few of my tunes settings trying to re-tweak them back to where they should have been. Annoying!
Anybody else been experiencing anything like this?

BTW I'm running WinXP.

I just found a pattern to what seems to be happening. when I move an effect from one channel to another by dragging & dropping, Live 3 loses it's graphic settings on all FX! some vst plugs cause this more than live ones. It also causes some clips to stop playing. VST plugs that are problematic seem to be Blockfish & Endorphin, as well as a few others especially ones made with synthedit. Sometimes Lives own FX cause this to happen too, though it doesn't seem to happen every time.
Saving then re-opening sorts it all out but it's a pain, and definately a graphic bug. Interesting that it's also happening on the Mac.
