Hi, I have just bought an audiophile soundcard so I can cue when djing then I found out you can use the program "jack 'so that you can cue using the built in soundcard and output using your external soundcard. I tried this as an experiment with the audiophile and it works really well.
I now want to take the audiophile back to the shop as I only bought it for the two extra outputs which I now dont need. The problem is that my normal soundcard which is supposed to be 2 in 2 out (Its an Edirol UA5) only shows up in Jack as having two outputs and no inputs. Has anyone else had this problem?
Failing that is anyone using soundflower. If so could they post a step by step guide of how to get it going so that I can use both an external and internal soundcard with live.
