Uc-33e or BCD 2000?

Post by TML » Thu Apr 13, 2006 7:37 am

HI basically I come from a traditional Dj background 2 decks a mixer.
strait up.

over the last two years ive been producing beats with ableton live.
and transgressing to the "digital world"
and loving it.

basically i'm looking for some hardware to enhance my production and live sets.
I thought the BCD2000 programmed to live 5 could work well as the traditional dj feel. but still wondered about the UC 33e mixer?

does the mixer come with a nice sound card or do i have to go external.
any suggestions?

but really

UC-33e or BCD 2000?

and why?

Hi
Neither the BCD2000 or the UC33e come with soundcards. So you'd have to budget for a seperate one.
I'd go for the BCF2000 if I was you, which also doesn't come with a soundcard. Or my second choice would be the BCD2000.
I wouldn't bother with the UC33e, it's a bit dated now.

Whaaaaaat? BCD 2000 is a soundcard, or say it has soundcard too.

Not that i give a shit about Behringer but just for the record. Behringers BCD; BFD; B.. whatever D are definitely having more features . UC is technology from 5 years back, which does not mean it can be used well, but all those Behringers have some usefull features and a lot of people from these forum use them happily.
I woudnt advice to buy them second hand they are not built neither priced to last. It may have German name but 100% China made.
