I recently upgraded to version 5.2 and have been experiencing something strange when recording midi clips. It seems if a note is recorded on the first downbeat of a measure it doesn't play back. I have to go into the clip view and clcik and drag it slightly to the right to get it to play.
My playing hasn't really changed since version 3 (the first version of live I owned) and this didn't happen as recent as version 5.0.3. Anyone else having this problem?
Possible quantize bug?...
Strangely I have on my laptop, but not my desktop. It was ready for a rebuild anyway, which I did and hey presto..... no more problems!
Its a severe solution, but it worked for me!
Maybe somebody has a better solution other than a rebuild. Perhaps you could try un-installing all versions of Abe, running Registry Mechanic (or doing a regedit) and then re-installing.

See it happens everytime if there is a note on the first beat of the clip I am recording..weird!! I've also noticed I lose certain automation recordings. Such as the pitch knob on operator, if I automate the filter cutoff knob and the pitch knob I lose all automation on the first one recorded. no it's not because of the back to arrangement button:) The automation doesn't show grey it completely disappears.
