Is there any way to route specific MIDI channels into a VST?
I'm thinking of multi-channel capable soft synths, and soft synths that REQUIRE different channels to access specific patches (i.e. Waldorf Attack).
I have set the MIDI From to a specific PORT, and channel to "All Channels", but apparently that rountes everything into MIDI CHANNEL 1 in the soft synth.
I've tried sending from various channels at the input port, no dice. Everything always goes into MIDI CHANNEL 1 on the soft synth.
Am I missing something? Or is this impossible in Live?
Thanks,
KA

Add a track with your multitimbral vst on it, then create another midi track and set its "midi to" to the track that holds the multitimbral vst, then in the dropdown below "midi to" you can select the channel.
If that doenst work the plugin may not be compatible with live.
