), I'll trigger a clip to record with a midi pedal (cc command) and it starts in the right place like normal, and at first I see the waveform being drawn like normal. Then, after a few beats or a measure into the recording of the clip, the first beat or two worth of waveform DISSAPEARS from the clip view. Once I loop the clip, the first part of the wave is still visually gone, but the audio is totally garbled--it sounds like very late latency on the first two beats--the first note on the "1" is way late, then gets cut short by the first visible waveform/sound. If I zoom in on the clip view, the previously invisible waveform at the beginning appears, and it also corresponds to the garbled audio--late and f*ed up. What the heck is going on here--it is totally unacceptable in terms of the sound (I gig with Live weekly, and this is my first instance of this behavior, and I'm scarred it could happen again, on stage). I was rewiring FLRWbeta when it happened, but even after shutting everything down and a cold boot, even just Live by itself with no rewire ins was causing this problem again. Anyone on pc have a similar occurence, what could this be, and how do I avoid it happening again??? After another reboot, Live has been okay, but I've only tested it out for 15 minutes since all the trouble--needless to say I'm a bit aprehensive about my gig tomorrow!
