Freezing many tracks does release main processor power, BUT we are suffering a huge performance hit on the hard drive 'streaming' instead (especially on Laptops).
So desired is an enhanced freezing function, which can freeze and merge together multiple tracks into one frozen track.
Freezing multiple tracks into one track!

Suggestion: How to optimize/enhance the freeze functionality.
When routing midi/audio tracks (the children) into one Audio track "In" (the parent). It would make sense to be able to freeze the parent audio track, so all its children tracks will be merged into one frozen track.
When trying this, Live will display a message ‘Track monitoring status “In” prohibits freeze’.
