Post YOUR music..

Post by waldo » Sun Apr 23, 2006 8:28 pm

i mean , like come on guys (and girls)
Me thinks this means your own songs and scapes and noodles and such ..

but NOT a mix of somebody elses songs ,

correct me if i'm wrong ,

if so i'd rather would ask ableton to start another forum : Link your dj-mix.

see ya,

Waldo

I had the same reaction at first, but after some thought I remembered that some mixes contain a great deal more creativity & expression than many "original" songs.
Just because you can copyright it doesn't necessarily mean it's new in any substantive way.

Maybe we could split the music forum into two:
1. Post your boring hack music & mixes.
2. Post your interesting music & mixes.

How do ya think that would work?

goddess forbid any of us want feedback on both!

i posted a link to a mix done in ableton because i wanted FEEDBACK on something i rarely do (mix in ableton). i thought perhaps that was what this section of the forum was for. if you don't wanna listen to the mixes, don't click on the links containing the word "mix" and you should be fine and dandy!
