Definately a lot more variation than my tune. See what you mean. Not my kind of music but then things change enough to keep me listening.

Like the samples, i think they work very well, sit nicely in the track. Has given me a few ideas...

Yeah, it's not for everyone, my background is more post-punk aggro than dance oriented. But I still love a groove.

that's wicked. you might want to EQ out a notch or two from the kick/bass stabs to let other low-frequency stuff through -- it gets a bit muddy in places. other than that, nice production!

Are you talking about the volume drops on the kicks when the weird pad sound hits? I noticed that, I think I will eq the bottom out of the pad.

Or was it something else?

no, I just meant that in general there seem to be quite a few sounds with frequencies that overlap the distorto-kick noise (not surprising -- it's pretty wide-spectrum) and because it's so high in the mix they get a bit drowned out. carving out some of the mid-bass freqs might help there. it's always a matter of trial and error for me to fix things like that, though...
