Default envelope should be set to ZERO
Default envelope should be set to ZERO
When you add a filter to a channel all of the envelopes for the clips are automatically set to 100% so you have to go and turn each down to zero to use it properly. It should be the opposite.
agree in theory - it is a time waster
but how would it work? setting every clip to zero what happens when you then use a send? so you turn the send to full but the clip is at zero
what you are suggesting would only work if you have it sync to every change you make - so when you raise the send the env follows - but the CPU and logistics of having to do this for every single parameter there is an env for would be too much - can you imagin your computer having to suddenly sync EVERY single envelope to the knob it is controlling?
Maybe when we have Quad core 15GB Pentium 12, but for now I cant see it working
but maybe you could have a right click context menu "reset to zero" so it quickly changes it for you
