hi, wanna ask for mac users. i use Live on my G4 powerbook (512mb ram) but lately it's been really slow since i started using reaktor. so heavy.
i was told to get more ram but how much?? 1G or 2G? do they make big difference?
advise me please, thanks-

more is better, specially with reaktor.
you can also add a little more audio latency to help cool things down a bit.
but more ram is more better.

I'm in the exact same dilemma. With RAM, the more, the merrier.
MBP 2.3 GHz i5, Live 9.6.1, Push, MPD32, Rane SL2

i am kind of new to Live, so wonder how much will be stable enough.

I bet 1gb should be enought, but the main question is:
what is your processor speed?
