I also forgot to ask whether those that are using it are happy with using ONLY the Live effects or are there a few on board AU's from Apple's side of things and any other VST/AU's out there. I know StylusRMX is universal...

Sounds great. What about the plug-ins? How you getting around the fact that there aren't that many at this stage?

i almost never use any other plugs than the Live one's. they re good. it's not about having a lot of plug-ins, it's about making good use of 'm.

Will Live 6 make use of the 64bit architecture?

Post by shotsi673 » Sat May 06, 2006 6:51 am

Going on from this will Live 6 make use of the 64 bit architecture of the Intel Meron chip that seems to be destined for the iMac in June/July?

Or will a 32 bit machine as is the current iMac Mactel be good enough?

thanks in advance

I'm curious as to how big a difference this will make.

From 32 to 64 bit.....Exactly what is the advantge.

Deeper resolution in editing???......or would it be a speed increase, performance wise?
