remove feature: automatic "offset"

In Live 3 (and I think since 2.1) there is a feature that I find fairly useless and actually distracting and a pain.

When you start a clip in session view, the fire another clip, then press stop and play again, the second clip you fired does not begin from the beginning of the clip, but rather gets an automatic offset. I guess the point is to have the second clip start in the same relative position as it's original firing. But this should be left to the arrangement window.

I hope this feature gets retracted in a subsequent update.

you are one of many that has noticed and hated this "feature". There have been a few threads already (apparently they are working on it, but it is supposedly hard to change). I also really hate it, and wish it was optional in the preferences menu. until then, 2.0.3.
