But in more filled songs the 606 wont run. I see the sync-lite on the KSM30 flashing in the song's rithm and on the 606 a light on the pattern starts flashing when I start Ableton, and stopts flashing when I stop Abe. So there appears to be some contact. But strangely enough the 606 wont start running.
When I subsequenly load an empty arrangement/set in Abe, all works fine again.
I searched for settings in Abe that could be different in the fuller songs, but all relevant settings appear to be same.
Anyone have a clue?

Edit: solved - had to switch Ableton's midi clock out settings to pattern mode. The fact that it worked with new songs blinded me, it worked because it could only sync from the beginning of an arrangement.
