shall I pan hard L&R or just leave it as?

Post by Tango » Mon May 08, 2006 7:09 pm

hello Ableton gurus,

my problem, I was given 2 mono files bounced off Protools or Logic which are the Left & right of a stereo pad sound, in 2 seperate mono file: Pad.L and Pad.R,

please let me know in order to creat the stereo image as the orignal creator intended to be, when I grab these 2 mono files into Live, do I just leave the pan pot on both channel in the middle or do I need to pan hard Left for the file with L and hard Right for the file with R?

thanks in advance.

Pan hard left and right if they are mono files.
