Ableton Gets Weak When Recording Wave Files
Ableton Gets Weak When Recording Wave Files
Every time when I record a wave track into Ableton, it get weaker and weaker. Each track get thinner and thinner. Is there a fix for this?

Check your levels when you record. There is no reason that a wav would get "weaker" with each track. Maybe more info about your config would shed some light.BigAl wrote:Every time when I record a wave track into Ableton, it get weaker and weaker. Each track get thinner and thinner. 3ghz Pentium 4 (Prescott), XP Sp2, 1gig Ram, Dual Monitor with Matrox Millenium, MOTU Traveler, Event EZ8 Adat card. Also IBM THinkpad t40 1.6 1 gig ram
You have to keep aware of your "mode" when recording, and consolidating.. make sure you use the proper configuration when you do, because if you don't use the proper mode, it could make the sound distort... make sure you understand that when consolidating, you normalize your track, which changes the levels...
