OSX / 5.2 wont open as a standaloe..Unexpectedly quits..

First of all heres my setup...

Mac g4 dual 1.25 ghz
OSX 10.3.9
also digi 001 audio interface running pro tools 6.4

When I open ableton alone ( w/ out protools open) the program
unexpectedly quits right after abletion says initializing audio inputs
and outputs...As soon as it says that it immediately quits...I cant
even get it to open whatsoever

However if I first open Pro Tools and after that I then open Ableton
5.2 Ableton will open and run fine using Rewire...That's great in that
I'm learning the program but I am going to need it to run as a
standalone...Please Help and I WILL BUY this program if I can get it
working solid...

If anyone knows of a fix please let me know...Thanks!!!!

It sounds like you have a dodgy vst. (live doesn't load vst's in rewire)

Empty your plugin folder and see if Live starts up. If it does start, then try to isolate the dodgy plugin by restarting live each time you add a vst back to your plugin folder.
